Dynmap

All you need to know about Dynmap.

Dynmap is a Google Maps-like map for Minecraft server that can be viewed in a browser. It has integrated webserver which works out-of-the-box. Dynmap can redner worlds using different renderers, some suitable for performance, which we are using, some of high detail.

We have configured Dynmap to suit our needs. There are available chat balloons and web-to-game chat, which are currently disabled and configurable markers, areas and lines.

We've decided to enable Overworld and Nether map after 1 week from season start, so in Season 6.9 Dynmap for Overworld and Nether will open on Saturday, 12 June 2021. The End map will open estimately 3 or 4 weeks after season start - just to make sure people don't raid it whole in one day.

How to add markers?

Markers are the most common map markers - simple icons with an associated label and/or an associated description popup. Each marker has a defined location in world coordinates (X, Y, Z and a world ID), a marker icon ID, a label, and an optional description. The marker icon ID can be one of the standard marker IDs (shown at the bottom of this page), or can correspond to an installed icon.

To add marker use command in-game:

/dmarker add <marker-label> icon:<icon-id>

This must be issued by a logged-in player, and will cause a marker to be defined at the player's current location. If icon is not defined, the default marker icon is used (default, a house).
